Beginners / Improvers courses

Our next 10 week beginners/improvers drumming course starts on Tuesday 10th January 2012. It'll be held at Tollcross Community Centre (click for map) from 7 - 9pm.

The course will cost a mere £60 for the 10 weeks and this includes a copy of the Edinburgh Samba School CD. We provide all the drums and equipment, and there's no need to enrol up front - all you need to bring along is yourself! If you fancy trying it out before committing to the full 10 weeks you can come along to the first session for £10. Then if you enjoyed it (we suspect you will!) you can pay the rest and get your CD the following week. Come along and get into the spirit of Brazilian carnival culture whilst creating some beautiful rhythms. There may also be a chance for a busk or performance at the end of the course - show off your new skills to your family and friends!

If you took part in the Winter 2011 beginners' course, this is an ideal follow-on course as we'll cover some different pieces. You'll also receive a discount due to already having a copy of the CD, bringing the cost of the course down to £55.
